Since the new garden was built in May we’ve grown potatoes, carrots, strawberries, runner beans, (tiny) pumpkins, peas, rainbow chard, herbs, flowers and a wild flower meadow. The pond has seen tadpoles and frogs come and go. The oak and chestnut saplings we sowed in the winter have found new homes. Now it’s getting colder we’ve cut the meadow (with scissors!), put up our mini-polytunnels and are growing winter salad.
